There are many launches of new versions that we can see constantly over the months. These refer to most of the programs we use on a daily basis in all kinds of settings. But there is one in particular that is probably among the most anticipated of the moment, we refer to the new Kodi 19 Matrix .

Improvements in content playback with Kodi
The new version of the program now has support for software decoding of the AV1 format, as well as improvements in subtitles. This will allow us to read them more clearly among other things thanks to a customizable level of opacity. At the same time the program supports static HDR10 and dynamic HDR Dolby Vision
As far as the PVR usage mode is concerned, we find groups of TV and radio channels, home screen widgets or dynamic PVR categories . There are also improvements in the group and channel manager in this particular section. Another aspect that is taken care of here is that of security.
Thus, the new Kodi 19 Matrix includes improvements in user information, such as the consequences of external interfaces or a warning when a disabled add-on is enabled. A default web interface password is also required and third-party add-ons are no longer allowed to overwrite the code of other unrelated add-ons.
