We are all looking forward to the new version of the Huawei layer reaching our phones, a wait that can be made somewhat shorter if we are sure if our Huawei mobile will be updated with EMUI 11 . To know this, we are going to give you the keys to find out, trusting that we all stay calm and know if our mobile will make this great leap with all the news.
On this occasion Huawei has given less information than is usually usual and this makes it difficult to know what its plans are, but with some patience we can find out. Despite this, it may be that some models are pleasantly surprised and although they do not appear to finally enter the plans if they are updated, although for this it will only be left to wait.
Mobiles that have access to the EMUI 11 beta
The mobiles that will be assured of the update to EMUI 11 are those that fall within the latest EMUI beta. Phones that already have EMUI 10.1
Another way to do it is based on the version of the operating system that we currently have. To know if the mobile will update to EMUI 11 we have to have EMUI 10.1 in our system as an essential requirement, something that we can find out by following the following steps:
- We access the settings of our mobile.
- We go down to the About phone option.
- We look at where it says Version of EMUI.
There are many models that already have the latest update of the Huawei layer and their plans have already come to an end. This means that if our mobile has not yet been updated with this version, we will have to settle for EMUI 10 and trust that plans change in the future. It is also possible that some mobiles get stuck in EMUI 10.1 and to know for sure we recommend that you follow the next step.
Other mobiles that may receive EMUI 11
Taking into account Huawei’s performance policy based on two years of updates, in addition to the models that we have already mentioned, all those that have been launched this year 2020 and 2019 could be safely updated with EMUI 11. To find out this we just have to go to the Huawei section of our site and use the search engine with our smartphone.
In our tests we have used the Huawei Nova 5T, which as we can see was launched on 10/7/2019 and therefore from then until September 2020 when EMUI 11 has been launched, only one year has passed, this means that the Huawei mobile can be updated with EMUI 11 . Although it is not an exact mathematical formula, it helps us to check first-hand if we have wide or low possibilities of updating the mobile, but when in doubt we recommend waiting for the official information.
