How to update MIUI apps
Your mobile with MIUI has numerous native apps, and you can easily know if these have been updated or if they have any pending updates. This is something that we can see in the phone settings quickly with a tool from the operating system itself with the MIUI layer.
Well, we have an alternative to Google Play, since within the Xiaomi layer we have the possibility of updating the applications in a specific section. This is found within the settings, in the following menus:
- Enter the settings
- Click on installed apps
- Within this section click on updates
Now within this new menu, we will be able to see on one hand all the updates that are available , in this case as you can see there is no pending update, so it is not necessary to do anything. If you want to see what the most recent updates have been, you can click on the button at the bottom, with ” update history “. Once inside you will be able to see all the recent updates that have been installed in the operating system through MIUI.
In this way we can see what apps are available to update, whether they are from MIUI or not. This is important, because the native apps of the Xiaomi software layer will be seen precisely in this area of the application if they have the updates available, something that we could not see in another area of the phone, such as Google Play. Because not all the apps that are installed on our Xiaomi mobile are available in the Google store.
