Is Wallet available on Mac

If your Mac model or Magic Keyboard has Touch ID, you’ll be able to use it to make payments on websites that support Apple Pay. To set up Apple Pay on Mac, you need to add at least one credit, debit, prepaid, customer, or Apple Card to Wallet. If you already have a debit or credit card associated with the iTunes Store or App Store, just verify the card’s security code to add it to Wallet.

How to use it

Once you’ve verified that you can use Apple Pay on your Mac, you’ll need to set it up to start using it. To do this, on your Mac choose the Apple menu, then System Preferences, then click Wallet & Apple Pay. Click on “Add card”. Note that if you’re not signed in with your Apple ID, you’ll be prompted to do so. After signing in, return to “Wallet & Apple Pay”. Next, enter your payment information. You will have two options available:

  • Use a card on file: If you’ve registered a credit or debit card with Apple to make purchases in the iTunes Store or App Store, enter the security code when prompted.
  • Add a new card: Place the card in front of the computer camera so that it appears in the frame displayed on the screen and follow the instructions. Or click on “Enter the data manually” and provide the requested information. Repeat this process for each card you want to use with Apple Pay.
