We clarify first of all that this article will not help you if your iPhone has been locked by iCloud, since in those cases the procedure to follow is different from the one we will explain below, which is based on a fully functional iPhone but for some reason it doesn’t work as it should.
Do you have any non-original parts on your iPhone?
It may sound strange, but if you had your iPhone repaired by an unauthorized service, it may be locked because of it. Repairing an Apple device in a center that does not have certification for it already entails that you lose the warranty, but it is also that in the most recent ones a functionality is added that detects non-original parts causing the use of the device is not correct . However, there are times when the iPhone does not really detect if there is a non-original part installed and it is simply that installation that has been done wrong, preventing the operation of the device. If it’s the apps that don’t work

The key combination that you must follow is to press and release the volume up button, press and release the volume down button and then hold down the lock button for several seconds until the Apple logo appears.
Once you have followed these steps, the iPhone will turn on after a few seconds, thus eliminating any harmful processes that were running in the background and, probably, making your iPhone work normally again.
Check if there are any pending updates
If, despite having followed the previous steps, you still have problems, it is possible that what the failure has its origin in the version of the operating system installed on your iPhone. Therefore, the recommendation in this case is to go to Settings> General> Software update and check if there is a more recent version of iOS ready for download and subsequent installation on the iPhone.
Restore is the last solution
If at this point you still have problems on your phone, you will have no choice but to format it. However, it is possible that many of your data will remain, such as photos, calendars and other bookmarks that are synchronized with iCloud.
