Motorola does not slow down even though we are in the final stretch of 2020. We have already seen how the firm has unveiled the new Moto G9 Power and its beastly 6,000 mAh battery. Now, it does the same with the presentation of the new Moto G 5G, the standard version of the Moto G 5G Plus , which once again offers 5G connectivity with general mid-range features, at a moderate price.
Motorola wants to position itself as one of the companies that truly democratize 5G, launching mid-range devices with sufficient features, and passivity to connect to new high-speed networks. An example we have in the new Moto G 5G, standard brother of the Plus that has already been on sale for some time.
Its technical characteristics
In this case, the terminal has a 6.7-inch MaxVision FHD + screen with HDR10 technology and a 20: 9 aspect ratio. This screen has a FullHD + resolution and has a hole to house the selfie sensor. Its dimensions are 166.1 x 76.1 x 9.9 mm with a weight of 212 grams. Moto G 5G also has a dedicated button for the Google Assistant on the side.
The terminal integrates the Snapdragon 750G processor, capable of providing it with 5G connectivity and enough performance to show off its gaming character. It comes with a classic configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by microSD cards up to 1TB. The Moto G 5G sports a square rear module, to house three sensors, with a 48 megapixel main lens, an 8 megapixel super wide-angle sensor and a third 2 megapixel macro sensor. On its front and housed in the screen hole, it has a 16 megapixel Quad Pixel sensor.
As we say, the terminal has 5G connectivity, in addition to a generous 5,000 mAh battery compatible with Motorola’s 20W TurboPower technology . This allows you to get 10 hours of operation with just 15 minutes of charging. There is no lack of other connections such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C connection. The terminal offers splash resistance and you haven’t forgotten the 3.5mm headphone jack. It moves from the base with Android 10, with a practically clean layer but with some integrated Motorola tools.
Price and date of sale
Motorola has confirmed that the Moto G 5G will be available in “selected European countries” at the price of 299.99 euros . This does not make it clear if and when it will finally arrive in Spain. It will also launch in select countries in Latin America, the Middle East and Asia in the coming weeks. You can choose between two colors: gray and black.
