Intel prepares its graphics cards for Uncharted and Gotham Knights

This week is full of highly anticipated games and it is necessary to prepare the PC to obtain the best performance. Intel has released new drivers for its Intel Arc graphics cards. These new drivers are optimized for Gotham Knights, A Plaghe Tale: Requiem, and Uncharted, as well as include a list of known bugs.

Intel’s management of its drivers for the new Arc graphics cards is not being very good. Also say that these graphics cards are difficult to find in the market, at least for now. They may only interest those who have an Intel Core Alder Lake processor and use the integrated graphics.

  • Call of Duty: Vanguard (DX12) – You may experience lower than expected performance after applying graphics quality changes. One solution is to restart the game after applying the desired settings.

  • God of War (DX11) – you may experience lower than expected performance on first launch within the game’s main menu

Intel Arc Control Known Issues

  • Windows UAC Admin is required to install and run Arc Control
  • Some applications may display a transparent or blank window when CMAA is set to “Force ON” globally
  • Some apps may show pixel corruption when sharpness filter is enabled globally
  • Arc Control may not update correctly. One solution is to uninstall Arc Control from Add/Remove Programs before upgrading
  • Using Arc Control Studio Capture with “In Stream” mode enabled may not correctly record the entire clip when in 1080p resolution settings
  • Arc Control may not automatically scale when changing from 1080p resolution to 4K resolution
  • A resolution selection of 1440p in Arc Control Studio Capture may not be available when the display’s native resolution is 4K
  • Arc Control Studio Camera overlay position may not retain desired position and size after system reboot
  • Hot plugging peripheral devices such as cameras, microphones, or displays while Arc Control is open may cause Arc Control to stop responding
