Manage your accounts with Insync
Once the application is downloaded and installed, we will only have to use the one available from Google Drive and OneDrive to start managing them from the application. The whole process is done simply and quickly, just by entering our email and password to start using the application.
Later, its main menu will appear, with a simple interface that will take care of showing us all the files that we have available in our account. Everything is in English and you do not have the possibility to change the language to Spanish, something that would be appreciated for the most inexperienced users.
In the main menu we will see a column on the left side with three different icons. The first icon is “My drive” , where we can see our folders and files that we have stored in our account, being able to manage any operation from it. Just below we find the icon of “Shared with me” , where we will find all files and folders that we have shared with other people. Finally, we have the “Shared drives” icon where we can synchronize the units that we have shared in other locations.
At the bottom of the column we will have the account settings. If we click here we can access different settings that we can make in the application. At the top we will have the tabs “Conflict” and “Docs conversion” as the most relevant.
Conflict
From this option we can manage what to do in case of any conflict with the application. In this case we can configure it to always ask us, keep the changes and make the upload or keep in the cloud to change and download.
Docs conversion
From this section it is possible to carry out document conversions . For this reason, we can convert Google spreadsheets, slides and drawings to a desktop format. From here we can select whether we want Google format files not to be converted, to convert them as Microsoft Office files or to convert them to OpenDocument format, an open source file format for storing text documents, spreadsheets. and presentations.

Insync is a commercial application so we will have to acquire its license to be able to use it. However, it is possible to download a 14-day free trial version from their website to check if it is the application we need. The program has a Prime version for individuals that has a price of 29.99 euros per Google account, with which we will have access to multiplatform synchronization, access to multiple accounts and support.
It also has a Teams version , aimed at the workplace of companies that has a cost of 49.99 euros and with which we can access all the Prime functions plus the synchronization of several teams.
