Create your own passport photos in just a few steps
Once we run ID Photos Pro, its main menu will appear, completely in English. Despite this, its interface is intuitive enough so that we do not have to have problems navigating through it, mainly because it will guide us step by step through all the functions of the application. In the left column we will start by selecting the type of document for which we need to take the photograph. If we choose Spain as the country, we will have the option to configure the photo for the DNI or the Passport.
Once we have selected the country and the type of document, we must upload a photo of ourselves or of the person for whom we are going to create the photo for the document. This photo must be frontal with the whole face and looking directly at the camera. The eyes should be open and fully visible and with nothing covering the head or face. Without sunglasses and with a white or light gray background. We will click on “Open Files” to add the photograph.
Once the photograph has been added, it will appear in the foreground and we can square it to our liking. Both vertical and horizontal measurements appear, which in the case of the documentation for Spain is 32 x 26 mm .
Click on “Next” and the following screen will appear, where we will have to correct any defect that the photo may have so that it can be valid. Here we can enlarge or reduce the size, as well as move it to the left or right. The program informs us that the head must occupy between 70 and 80% of the frontal, as well as that it must include the entire head and the back of the neck. Finally, there must be a minimum distance of 2mm between the top of the head and the top of the photograph. In case the photo is not correctly located, a red warning sign will appear for us to modify it until we find the correct composition.
Click on “Next” again to go to the next screen where we can make different color adjustments . For the photograph to be valid for the official document, it must be in color and reproduce natural skin tones. Once we finish the edition, click on “Next” and we will go to the next screen where we must select the printer for which we are going to print, or we have the possibility of exporting as PDF, Fax, Microsoft XPS Document … in different sizes.
When we have selected how we want to export it, the different types of photos that we can print, save on the hard disk or save on a CD / DVD will appear.
