Design, screen and dimensions
The truth that externally these two phones are practically identical, because their screens are practically the same size, 6.21 inches of the Huawei P Smart 2019 compared to the 6.26 inches of the Huawei Y7 2019. Both have notch with the shape of a drop of water .

Here we have two completely different processors, in the case of the Smart we have a Kirin 710 , of proven solvency in the mid-range, and manufactured by Huawei itself.
And in the Huawei Y7 we have a Snapdragon 450 , a processor perhaps somewhat less powerful, but that like all of Qualcomm has a proven solvency and performance. In general, the Huawei P Smart 2019 may be somewhat more powerful. On the RAM, both offer us 3GB, while in the internal storage the P Smart is better than its rival, with 64GB, double what the Y7 offers.

In this aspect there is enough equality, in fact technically we find an identical camera, because in both phones the camera is dual and has two 13 and 2 megapixel sensors .

In terms of connectivity, the P Smart has a determining aspect in our opinion, NFC connectivity , something that does not have its rival, and that allows us to make mobile payments in stores. In the case of the software there are also differences, because the Y7 2019 has reached the market with Android 8, while the P Smart has done it with Android 9, and in fact it already has Android 10 thanks to EMUI 10.

Conclusion
The truth is that we have two phones that are very similar in key aspects such as the camera, design or screen size, but have important differences. And in these differences in our view we believe that they make the Huawei P Smart a better mobile at the current price. This only costs eight euros more, and for that difference we have a screen with Full HD + resolution, a more powerful a priori processor, double the storage memory and NFC connectivity, four features that surpass the Huawei Y7 of 2019 . The latter stands out only for a battery with more capacity. In our humble opinion, it is now better to buy the P Smart of 2019 . You, which one do you prefer?
