Huawei Nova 8i Feature Leak

Huawei appears to be hibernating. So far in 2021 it has just launched a couple of mobiles and when we have all been waiting for the Huawei P50 for a quarter, the smartphone has not yet been seen. In fact, during the past Prime Day we were not even able to find a single phone of the brand on sale.

However, the firm is still launching the odd smartphone, aimed at meeting the needs of those who are looking for a mid-range and continue to trust Huawei . The Nova 8 series is one that still maintains the type for the manufacturer and does so with different versions of the Nova 8 SE (Dimensity 800U and Dimensity 700 CPU variants), the Nova 8 5G, the Nova 8 Pro 5G, the Nova 8 Pro 4G and now the Nova 8i . What’s so special about it?

This would be the Huawei Nova 8i

The information shared by Playfuldroid reveals that the company will present this smartphone sooner rather than later, although it is not known which markets it will be aimed at or if it will at least reach Europe. The rest of the family member have not done so, so we should not have much hope of it either.

The publication states that the arrival of the phone was confirmed through an informative session that the company gave to make the product known to distributors, thanks to which we already know that it will sport a 6.67-inch LCD panel with Full HD + resolution , DCI-P3 color gamut, and an impressive 94.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, one of the highest seen in a mid-range phone.

The rear housing of the Huawei Nova 8i will have a circular camera module like the one that was released in the Huawei Mate 30 family and would have a 64-megapixel main lens with f / 1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120 degree angle of view, a 2 megapixel macro camera and a depth sensor of the same resolution.

As far as the phone’s hard-core hardware is concerned, the mid-range device will be powered by the Snapdragon 662 chipset and a 4,300 mAh battery with 66 W Huawei SuperCharge support that could fully charge this cell from 0 to 100 in. less than 40 minutes. What about the software? No sign of HarmonyOS 2.0, the phone will ship to stores with EMUI 11 based on the Android 10 operating system, as happens with its brothers.

It will be available in three colors: Moonlight Silver, Starry Black, as well as Interstellar Blue, but we don’t know when yet.
