To close this strange year, including among those affected Huawei by the difficulties that have been presented to it with manufacturing and restrictions, the Chinese manufacturer has made official what are surely the last three models of the year. The Huawei Nova 8, Nova 8 Pro and the Enjoy 20 SE model are official and they have shown us all the features and prices with which they arrive.
The first of them, the Huawei Nova 8 are located between the mid-range and the high-end range, being able to arrive in Spain with the already classic popularity of Huawei under the P series. Meanwhile, the Enjoy 20 SE would do it as one of its models. of the Y series, as it is a cheaper smartphone located in the mid-range, although with characteristics that make us follow it very closely.
Features of the Huawei Nova 8
This Huawei Nova 8 that comes without Google services as the main aspect, has some characteristics that well parody it to serve as a super sales, starting by highlighting its 6.57-inch screen in Full HD + resolution and OLED technology . In addition, it includes a 90 Hz refresh rate and a touch response of 240 Hz with 393 PPI, adding the fingerprint reader under the screen.
The brain of this smartphone is the Kirin 985 which with its 8 cores is capable of the best, even offering us support for WiFi 6 networks and the 5G network , accompanied by options of 8 GB of RAM along with 128 GB or 256 GB of memory. As we have already mentioned, it does not include Google services, but it does arrive with Android 10 along with EMUI 11.
The lenses that it includes on the back adopt that curious design in the shape of an extended circle to include its quadruple camera with 64 Mpx in the main sensor, 8 Mpx in the large ring and 2 Mpx for macro and sensor designed to improve the crop in the portrait. Ahead, the hole in the central screen gives way to the 32 Mpx of the selfie camera.
Finally, the battery is 3,900 mAh with support for fast charging of up to 66 W with which we can fully charge it in just over half an hour. To achieve this, it is helped by a heat sink based on graphene.
Huawei Nova 8 Pro, the improved version
The Pro model of the Nova 8 presents us with a screen that grows, reaching in this case 6.72 inches and causing the refresh rate to increase to 120 Hz, also improving touch sampling up to 300 Hz, as well as 440 PPI that presents us. A screen and design that, due to the curvature and the front camera in a capsule-shaped hole format, inevitably reminds us of the Huawei P40 Pro.
In the configuration it does not present any difference, maintaining the same Kirin 985 with the same memory options and technologies. In the cameras there are changes, but only from the front, since we have a 32 Mpx and 16 Mpx dual sensor with the intention of getting a wide-angle selfie. The rear part maintains the same design and quad cameras.
Curiously, the Pro model has the same 66W fast charge, but limits the capacity to 3,700 mAh, a move aimed directly at achieving less thickness.
Everything about the Enjoy 20 SE
Finally, we know the cheapest Huawei model that we have seen at this event in China, the Enjoy 20 SE that is presented with a 6.67-inch LCD technology screen . The resolution is maintained here also in Full HD + and opts for the selfie hole in the central part, but from behind with much more classic cameras in vertical format. The fingerprint reader is located on the side of the smartphone.
Inside, the chip that will move the entire system based on Android 10 and EMUI 11 without Google is the Dimensity 700, adding 5G technology. We will have options of 4 GB of RAM along with 128 GB of memory or with the same memory but 8 GB of RAM.
The cameras do not go unnoticed either in this case, also finding a quadruple 48 Mpx camera, along with the 8 Mpx wide angle and two more than 2 Mpx lenses for macro and portrait. Ahead, the selfies will get great detail and sharpness with its 16 Mpx. Regarding the battery we have 5,000 mAh with a fast charge of 22.5 W.
Prices and launch of the Huawei Nova 8, Nova 8 Pro and Enjoy 20 SE
For now, no release date has been given in China, much less in Spain. For its arrival in our country we do not have confirmation, but as we mentioned at the beginning, it could arrive with the popularity that Huawei usually does.
