Among the common problems that we can find on our mobile, it is common for many of them to be related to the screen. In this sense, when the visualization is not correct, we can lose a large part of the experience. On many occasions we think that it is something that occurs as a result of a hardware failure, but in the vast majority of cases it is something that has an easy solution, just as it happens in Huawei phones.
The screen is the central axis of our smartphone, through which everything passes and without which interaction would be impossible. However, Huawei phones have screen display problems on certain occasions. This can cause display problems such as color distortion, colors that are too bright, or color casts (yellow, red, blue, green, or white tints). The following solutions are part of the software settings of our device, but if nothing works, it may be best to perform a color calibration on it.

Check “Time to sleep”
One of the first tests that we will have to do will be to verify if the “Bedtime” selector is activated. We can do it from Settings / Digital Balance / Bedtime . If so, the display will show a black and white tone at the preset break time, which could be mistaken for a problem.
EBook mode activated?
Some Huawei terminals have an eBook mode specially designed for reading. If it is enabled while we use traditional navigation, we will be able to perceive a different color. We can check it from the Settings menu, looking for the word “ebook” in the search box. If it does not appear, our mobile does not support this option.
Check color correction and inversion
These are two options that, if activated, also substantially alter the colors of the screen , causing the display to be incorrect. We will also have to search for “Color correction” and “Color inversion” in the search box of the settings menu, and deactivate both boxes if they are activated.
Dark mode activated?
Dark Mode is a very popular feature lately, but it doesn’t appeal to all users alike. Also, you may not have or heard of it, but for one reason or another it has been activated on your Huawei mobile. To check it we will have to search for “Dark Mode” and deactivate the function if it is activated.
Interface Colors
Another setting that we will have to check is called “Darken the interface colors” and it is found within the battery options . We can disable it to try to correct the color problem. Likewise, within Developer options, we must verify that the “Simulate color space” option is disabled.
