The worst of the Unforgivable Curses
If we especially liked something about Hogwarts Legacy, it was the large number of spells we have. From the already classic ones like Wingardium Leviosa, Lumos or Expelliarmus , to new and interesting ones like Confringo or Glacius that we can easily use at any time of the adventure.
But without a doubt, the spells that fans are dying (watch out for the joke) to unlock are the so-called Unforgivable Curses , that is, Crucio , Imperio and above all else, Avada Kedavra . The latter in particular, despite the fact that the first two can be unlocked almost automatically as we progress through the story, has a little more trick. That is why we will show you how to unlock it below . Without further ado, let’s get started.
Before we start, in any case, it doesn’t hurt to warn that we are going to talk about SPOILERS about the game’s campaign , so if you keep reading… don’t say that we didn’t warn you!
A Slytherin Story
To unlock all three Unforgivable Curses , you’ll need to progress through Sebastian Sallow’s side campaign . This consists of a series of missions to help your friend in his quest to heal his sister, who has been the victim of a curse.
Well, there will come a time in the campaign -towards the end of it-, in which , as much as it tempts you to do the main mission, we do not recommend doing it , since you have to start the so-called “Shadows of the relic”, which is the one that unlocks Avada Kedavra just before finishing the story. In this Sebastian mission you will have to get to the bottom of the catacombs to intercept your friend before he does something crazy. Once you have found him, Sallow’s uncle will arrive with the aim of arresting him for playing with dark magic. Once Sebastian has killed him, you will need to follow him to the outside of the catacomb.
This is where you have to pay attention. It will be at this point that a conversation between your character and Sebastian begins. In the first interaction you must answer that “he did well” using the killing curse. If you have chosen the correct option, he will offer to show it to you. To this you must answer yes, please tell you how you can invoke it.
In this way, the lesson will begin and in no time you will have Avada Kedavra curses in your repertoire. With this curse in your hands you will be able to kill all kinds of enemies (even the odd boss) with a single blow , which must be said to be especially satisfying.
