One of the greatest attractions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater is that the game hides many secrets, each one more fun. Some come in the form of hidden corners on the stage, while others come in the form of playable characters. Did you know that you can play with an alien skin?
An alien in Tony Hawk
One of the hidden characters that you can find in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is the alien. With an aspect of an alien from a distant universe, this peculiar character will offer us very special abilities with which to make new combos and grinds to each more spectacular. But to achieve it you will have to work hard.
The first thing you should keep in mind is that you must meet a series of insurmountable requirements to be able to go in search of this hidden character. These are the requirements that you should take into account:
- You must have the Helicopter Jump level unlocked
- You must have the Skate Sky level unlocked
- Find each and every one of the alien balloons that are hidden by all the levels
The problem is that to unlock the Helicopter Jump level you need to have a gold medal in all Tony Hawk competitions, and to unlock Skate Sky you must have all the Tony Hawk 1 and Tony Hawk 2 levels completed by 100%. So you have a great challenge ahead.
Where are the alien balloons to explode?
Once you have all the levels available, it’s your turn to pop the mini alien-looking balloons that are hidden in all of them. Some are easy to find, while others are hidden in hard-to-reach corners, so we are going to show you exactly where to find them so you don’t have too many problems.
Warehouse
The first alien is not going to offer much resistance. You simply have to go to the area to the left of the warehouse as soon as you start the game and reach the back wall. Look in the right corner and there you will find the balloon shaped like an alien.
school
The second alien will be even easier to find. You just have to go to the corner of the building behind you as soon as the game begins.
Mall
Hidden in the shadows, this alien is in a corner (for a change) next to the first stairs down to the next floor.
Skate park
One of the most difficult aliens to find, since we have to climb on top of the judges’ booth to be able to spot it. Grind over the edge to get on the platform and pop that balloon.
Downtown
Another of the most difficult challenges of the alien. This time you must look for a hidden cornice that you will find in one of the roof areas.
Downhill Jam
It is without a doubt the easiest alien to explore, but it is the one that is most hidden. And it will be hidden behind us as soon as the level begins, so do not run so much and turn around before starting to go down.
Burnside
Here you will have to use your wits to get that alien, since it is resting next to a column in an area with difficult access. Take advantage of the ramp right next to you to propel yourself and drop onto the ledge.
Streets
The alien is hidden on the roof of the restaurant Margo’s Dinner, so jump directly on it to explode it as soon as possible.
Roswell
The home of our alien also has one of its balloons hidden. He is in the UFO room (in which there is also a tank).
The Hangar
The first scenario of Tony Hawk 2 keeps a secret area that you can reveal by grinding on the helicopter’s propellers. Once you discover the area, you just have to go to the left corner to find the alien.
School II
Marseilles
Here we will again have to find a hidden area and for this we will have to knock down a lamppost.
Once the area is discovered, we will only have to go to one of the arches to find the alien.
NY City
Jump directly to the monument area and look for the alien next to the glass doors, attached to the base of the monument.
Venice beach
This time the alien is in a more or less accessible area, but a bit hidden. The easiest way is to make a transfer from the ramp that you have in the left area at the beginning of the game.
Skatestreet
Possibly the most complicated. You must open the door of the secret area (grinding the straight and cantilevered bar that is on the stage) and go towards the vertical wall with the help of the ramp that is next to it.
Philadelphia
Another alien that requires unlocking the secret zone. Grind for the power lines near the construction zone so that the fence falls and you can access the area. The alien will be in the hallway on the right, under the wooden stairs.
Bullring
Jump into the stands to place yourself in the walkable area. Surround it until you find the alien stuck to the wall on the left.
Helicopter jump
Jump out of the helicopter and onto the half pipe platform right in front of you. Scroll to the area on the left to go down a level and the alien will be hidden in the corner behind you.
Skate heaven
Your goal is to enter the interior of the volcano to access a new area, although first you must activate the volcano by grinding the two houses that you will find in the center. After that, go inside the volcano and you will reach a hidden area, and right there you will have to approach a small position with several chairs behind a half pipe where you will find the last balloon alien.
