Whether you have a new mobile and you want to move all the photos from the old one or if you have any other need, the simplest quickest option to transfer photos from one mobile to another is with the SD memory card . This small complement that is available on countless mobiles allows us to quickly and practically instantly take photos where we need them.
All the options via the Internet that sometimes give us problems or the cloud storage that forces us to pay to enjoy it are left out. We just have to prepare our SD card, insert it into the old mobile and perform the steps that we are going to show you. To make it very easy and simple for you, we are going to explain all the steps in one direction and in the reverse.
Move photos to memory card on Android
Once the memory card is inside the mobile, all the steps that we are going to pray are in the Android file manager. Most smartphones already have Files by Google by default among the apps, although if this is not your case, you can easily download it from the Google Play Store . Once started for the first time we are one step away from moving all the photos on Android , we have to give access permissions and follow the steps:
- In the first place we touch on the bottom button where it says Explore.
- Next we enter images.
- They will appear separated by folders, we can place ourselves in “All” and we will not miss anything.
- Then we keep our finger on a photo, we touch on the top three points and we choose Select all.
Now that everything is selected we just have to click on the three points at the top again and this time we touch on “Move to”. Then we confirm the action and give the necessary permissions, just by doing this we transfer all the photos from the mobile to the memory card in a matter of seconds.
Move photos from memory card to internal storage
If our purpose was to take the photos from the old mobile to move them to the new one, the process must be completed in reverse. Now what we have to do is go back to the Files by Google application available for all Android devices and follow this process:
- We go to Files by Google> Explore and choose the photos on the memory card that are identified with a small card-shaped icon.
- After we select them, we can touch the three points to mark all.
- Now we touch the three points again and choose “Move to” and then confirm that we want them to go to the internal storage.
