Download your songs to listen offline
To download your songs in Apple Music, and listen to them without internet, first of all you have to go to the Apple Music application, while our iPhone has a connection. We select the song (or album) that we want to download, and click on the arrow icon, in the upper right part of the screen, and select the “Download” option. When the music is downloaded and we do not have an Internet connection, in Apple Music there are two nuances: we can listen to music in high quality and Dolby Atmos (if the songs have that quality), but we will not be able to use the function of consulting the lyrics of the songs , while it is playing.
When you want to download music on Apple Music, apart from selecting the song you want, you can also select the quality with which you want to listen to the music without internet. When you download songs, keep in mind that they take up memory space. And the higher resolution a song has, the more space it will take up. It is a detail that you have to take into account, if you do not have much storage space. As explained in the iPhone Settings:

- 1,000 lossless songs

To select with what quality we want to download the songs, we must go to Settings> Music. To download songs with Dolby Atmos audio, we activate the “Download in Dolby Atmos” option. In the “Audio” section, we have to select the “Audio quality” option and within this menu we activate the following options:

- Downloads > High Resolution Lossless
High Quality, Lossless and High Resolution Lossless audio formats are AAC 256 kbps, ALAC up to 24-bit/48 kHz, and ALAC up to 24-bit/192 kHz respectively. Except for the AAC format, ALAC corresponds to a proprietary audio codec from Apple. Even so, regardless of the codec, it can be played without any problem without internet, in airplane mode during a flight.
