There is a large group of users looking to have a screen on their Mac as clean as possible. Remove the toolbar from macOS
Although it may seem incredible, Apple allows us to customize our visual experience on Mac. It has always been said that the Cupertino company covers its operating systems enough to prevent them from being customized, but the truth is that in macOS we can touch many variables to adjust it to our tastes . One of these options includes the toolbar or menu bar that can be hidden in a very simple way. You just have to follow the following steps:
- Enter ‘System Preferences’ on Mac.
- In the first row we must click on the ‘General’ section.
- Almost at the beginning, look for the option that says ‘hide and show the menu bar automatically’ and mark it.
Once we have activated this option in the preferences of our Mac , this toolbar or menu bar will disappear from our view . But obviously at some point in our use with the Mac we will have to display some of these menus to access for example the information about the Mac. To make it appear again we will simply have to take our mouse and place ourselves at the top of our screen. The bar we previously had will automatically appear again and we can use it normally.
In the end what we do is hide the toolbar but not remove it completely because it is impossible. The result we get in this case is a much cleaner screen to focus on the work we are doing.
