How to Fix Wi-Fi Problems on OPPO Mobiles

Having problems with Wi-Fi connectivity is normal for any brand or model of mobile. This is because except for a known software or hardware failure, in many cases it depends on our own configuration, so it will be very easy to solve them. We are therefore going to take a look at OPPO mobiles and how to make their mobiles connect to Wi-Fi without problems.

Fix Wi-Fi Problems on OPPO Mobiles

The failures with the Wi-Fi in our OPPO phones can manifest themselves in various ways, and we can even perform some tricks to improve their speed. However, the biggest drawback is when we can’t even connect to the network. In addition, this can cause us to think that we are under the protection of a Wi-Fi network, when in reality our data bonus is being spent by leaps and bounds.

Restart the mobile

It is the first step that we must take and the first advice that OPPO itself offers us. To do this, we hold down the power button and click on the restart option . It is possible that when the system reboots, we can connect to Wi-Fi without problems.

Verify connection

We will have to be sure that we are connected to the Wi-Fi network, going to Settings / Wi-Fi and pressing the icon to enable the connection. We must also be sure that the password is correct , otherwise the connection will not occur. If we are not sure of the latter, it is best to click on the Wi-Fi connection, touch “forget” and re-enter the password from scratch.

WI-Fi icon

In this case, we will have to look for the Wi-Fi icon on the home screen. If this does not appear in the upper right corner of our mobile, it is possible that we are out of the range of the Wi-Fi network. In this case we will have to go to the router and check if the icon appears. If it still does not appear, we must restart the router and disconnect and reconnect the Wi-Fi of our OPPO.

Clear the Wi-Fi cache

Over time, the Wi-Fi settings may become corrupted. The best solution is to clear the data and cache, then try again later. To do this we will have to go to Settings / Application Management / Wi-Fi Settings. Finally we will only have to clear the data and the cache.

Other tips

If none of the above works, we can make other adjustments and attempts so that the terminal can connect to the Wi-Fi network without problems.

  • Test the Wi-Fi network on other phones – Try to connect to this Wi-Fi network on other phones. If other phones cannot connect to this Wi-Fi network, there may be a problem with our network operator.
  • Verify the router and cables: once verified, we must restart the router and try to connect to the Wi-Fi network again ten minutes later.
  • Factory data reset: when everything fails and in order to reset any configuration or installation that has affected Wi-Fi connectivity, we must return our OPPO to the initial factory settings. To do this, we will have to go to Settings / Additional settings / Backup and restart / Factory data reset.
