Battery issues extend to any make and model, OnePlus is no exception, and while OxygenOS is one of the best-performing customization layers with few additions, it also suffers from issues that cause the battery to drain. To solve it we must follow a series of corrections on our mobile.
It does not matter if our mobile phone was launched several years ago or is one of its latest models presented, such as the OnePlus 8. In all of them there are common points that can cause these problems with the battery, this section that has caused so many headaches to the developers of OnePlus and for whom the company itself recommends some of these solutions.
Effective solutions to problems
Among all the circumstances that the battery of OnePlus phones can present us, there are a series of measures that we must take before complicating ourselves. These are tips that we have repeated on more than one occasion and that on more than one occasion have been the only solution that users need.
Check the latest updates
A new version of the software can end the battery problems in our mobile, the specialist purchase to quickly correct the problems and that’s why it is the first thing that we should check. Just by going to Settings> System> System updates, we will manually check if there is a new version.

- Then we hold down the low volume and power buttons until we see the OnePlus logo.
- Then we select English language.
- We play wipe data and cache.
- Later in wipe cache.
- Then Yes to confirm the action.
- Finally, when it is finished, click on reboot.
Our OnePlus will turn on again and no more data should have been deleted than the cache, which in many cases is the culprit of draining the battery of our mobile.
