Before starting
Before starting the process to change your number, you need to make sure you meet the following requirements. First make sure that your WhatsApp application is linked to your old phone number.
To do this, open WhatsApp, click on “More options” (it is the icon of the three vertical dots) and then click on “Settings”. In the new window, click on your profile picture to verify which number WhatsApp is linked to.
Secondly, it is necessary that your new SIM card plan allows you to receive both SMS messages and international calls. This is because, as you well know, in order to link any WhatsApp account to a number you will need to verify it with a code sent to your mobile phone or with a call.
Step 1: Insert your new SIM card into the phone

Step 2: Access the WhatsApp settings menu
