Following the opening of reservations by Apple for the acquisition of the new HomePod mini, users have finished with the first available units. Delivery dates have begun to lengthen and some users will already receive their new HomePod with a delay of up to two months in some locations. The reservation of the new HomePod mini began on Friday and a few days later the deliveries have been delayed until December. In these cases, two possible scenarios can be considered: that there were few startup units or that there was a high demand. In theory, the first speakers would begin to reach users on November 16, but many will see their delivery delayed unfortunately.
To this day, in the Apple Store in Spain, if you want to make a purchase of the HomePod mini in space gray, the delivery will be until December 9. This does not happen in the white model that does keep the delivery date between November 19 and 24, close to the original date. Undoubtedly, the SARS-COV2 pandemic has caused the initial stock of this new product with great security to have been very scarce. The problem in the delivery of the necessary components by the suppliers has caused Apple to have these problems. The real drawback will come when the Christmas campaign begins. It will be here where many problems will arise since the demand, as is logical, will increase due to the type of product and its price.
