HarmonyOS 2.0 beta Reaches More Huawei Phones

At the beginning of June, we were finally able to confirm the arrival of HarmonyOS 2.0 , thanks to the presentation event organized by Huawei. During this event, the brand showed a complete list with more than 100 devices that could take advantage of this next update. Something that attracted a lot of attention, since even the oldest terminals of the manufacturer may have the new operating system of the Chinese brand.

However, the date that they had scheduled for the launch of this beta for some of the models of their brand was advanced ahead of time. Now it is the turn of 16 more mobile devices from the Asian firm as they have reported through an official publication.

HarmonyOS 2.0 Open Beta

Since the arrival of the company’s new software system was officially known, they began to launch different beta versions for those devices that had been shown during the presentation. Of course, they have been carrying out it gradually. Since, a few weeks later, Huawei finally began to implement its new software system for a few terminals. As was the case with the following smartphones from the Asian company:

  • Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.
  • Huawei Mate X.
  • Huawei Mate20 X 5G.
  • Huawei nova 5, nova 5z, nova 5i Pro and 5 Pro.
  • Huawei nova 8 and nova 8 Pro 5G.
  • Huawei nova 7 5G and nova 7 Pro 5G.
  • Huawei nova 6 and nova 6 5G.

HarmonyOS 2.0

Days later, according to a post on Weibo from the HarmonyOS account, Huawei has already given access to the open beta of its new system to more mobile devices starting today:

  • Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 E, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro +.
  • Huawei Mate X2.
  • Huawei P40 4G, P40 5G, P40 Pro and P40 +.
  • Huawei with Porsche Mate30 RS and Mate 40 RS design.
  • Huawei Mate 30, Mate 30 5G, Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 E Pro 5G and Mate 30 Pro 5G.

Although for now, the HarmonyOS 2.0 beta builds for mobile devices that we have mentioned are only available for the Chinese ROM. Additionally, the Asian manufacturer has yet to reveal its upgrade rollout plan for global markets. So, surely, we will have to wait a little longer for their arrival. Since, today, we do not have an official date for the launch of the new version of Huawei’s system for mobile phones in Spain, although everything indicates that it will do so this year coinciding with the launch of the stable version.
