Of course, all the functions and news that we find in these programs are powered by Adobe Sensei, the company’s AI. The first of the novelties that we find in this new version of Photoshop Elements 2022 is a function that allows us to turn a photo into a work of art .
Another interesting novelty is the possibility of adding moving elements to photos , such as snowflakes or sparkles, and animated frames, being able to save the result in MP4 format.
Another function that we can find in these new versions of the programs is a deformation tool that allows us to automatically deform and adjust any photo to fit inside an object, such as a cup of coffee or glasses.
We can also find new guided edits specially designed to enhance pet photos, extend backgrounds, slide templates, and much more.
As for Premiere Elements 2022, the simple video editor has added new features and tools to help us retouch and enhance our favorite videos. One of the best novelties for this program allows us to change the size of the videos to be able to use them on social networks while keeping the most important elements within the video. We can also find new guided edits thanks to which we can add with a couple of clicks animated overlays (like butterflies flitting around) and adjust shadows and lights of the videos.

How much do these programs cost?
While the standard versions of Photoshop and Premiere require us to subscribe to the Creative Cloud suite, and pay every month, these Elements editions are one-time payment programs. We can get the latest version of them by paying “only” 100 euros . And we have a pack that includes the two programs for 150, saving us half of one of them. The good thing is that we will not have to pay more times, and the program will always be for us.
Also, if we have a license from a previous version, we can update it saving us some money. The license upgrade costs 82 euros instead of 100, or 124 if you have an old license for each program.
