Free AVS Image Converter, allows you to convert images in a couple of clicks
Once we run Free AVS Image Converter, its main menu will appear, with the fluid interface with many useful functions that are in perfect Spanish. Its design can be considered minimalist and elegant , encompassing multiple functions in a practical way, causing extensive control over our files. Thanks to this simplicity it can be used by all kinds of users, even the least experts.
In the upper right part we find three tabs with the main functions of this program: Conversion, Corrections and Watermark. In the central part we find the main panel where we can click to add files or add them by dragging and dropping. At the bottom we find the Destination Directory , where the files resulting from our conversion will be saved, as well as the Convert button ! that we will use to convert the image once we have established the appropriate parameters.
From the Conversion tab it will show us what formats we can convert the image to (Jpeg, Pdf, Gif, Png, Tiff, Bmp, Tga and Ras). We must also select the image quality, between 0 and 100. By default, it shows us an image quality of 85, the higher the quality, the more space the resulting file will occupy.
Just below we will find the Resize section, which has both a simple and an advanced mode. With the simple mode , different scales appear at which we can resize the images by default, maintaining their proportion at all times. In the advance mode it allows us to customize the output size to the one we want, giving us the option of maintaining or not the proportion of the photograph.
Finally, we have the Rename option . From here we can add a new profile in case we want to add a new personalized name, keep the text of the image or add a text and a number. Once entered, it also allows us to save the file modification date.
From this section we can add filters to the image, within the Simple mode , with options such as Cold, Warm, Sepia, Black and white, Noise, Focus, among others. We will also have an advanced mode from where we can correct certain settings such as Brightness, Contrast, Temperature and Blur / Sharpen.
As its name indicates, from this option we can add an image that we want to insert as a Watermark , allowing us to preserve the original size, as well as to graduate its Opacity. It is also possible to add a textual watermark, allowing us to choose its opacity, typeface, brush, shadow and border to adapt it to our needs.
Once finished adjusting all the details of Conversion, Corrections and Watermark and having selected the destination Directory, we can only click on the Convert button ! that we find at the bottom right to obtain the final result in a matter of seconds.
