The Movistar Fusión rate offer has been renewed to include a smartphone with all of them. The operator has increased the monthly installments of all prices by 3 euros as we already collected in another article. The smartphones that we can access are divided into categories and, in some rates, we will have to pay more to make the jump to a higher modality. Existing customers will be able to choose not to switch to these rates. As of April 11, Movistar Fusión has new rates. The blue operator has already accustomed us to making a couple of changes per year, although this is quite important. Customers now have the possibility to choose a smartphone at no cost included in their rate or choose to choose a higher one from the operator’s catalog.
What are the new Movistar Fusión rates?
The new Movistar Fusión rates imply an increase of 3 euros for including that smartphone. The operator explains that the amount accumulated over 36 months will be less than what it would cost us to pay the terminal at once at its market price. The current prices are as follows:
- Total Plus Merger with 4 lines for 200 euros per month (current installment 197 euros per month)
- Total Plus Fusion for 175 euros per month (current installment 172 euros per month)
- Total Merger for 150 euros per month (current installment 147 euros per month)
- Selection Plus Fusion with All Soccer for 120 euros per month (current fee 117 euros per month)
- Fusion Selection Plus with Fiction 1 Gbps for 115 euros per month (current fee 112 euros per month)
- Selection Plus Fusion with Fiction 300 Mbps for 105 euros per month (current fee 102 euros per month)
- Fusion Selection with Champions 1 Gbps for 105 euros per month (current fee 102 euros per month)
- Fusion Selection with Champions 300 Mbps for 95 euros per month (current fee 92 euros per month)

The rates with Netflix X2 or X4 will cost us 11 euros more for the modality of two screens with HD quality and 15 euros more for the modality with four screens and UHD 4K quality. The rest of the mobile or television conditions remain unchanged.
What about current customers?
Current Fusion customers will be able to switch to the new rates to enjoy a new device included in the new price, in addition to being able to benefit from a promotion that will allow them to upgrade to a higher rate, but continue to pay the previous price for the first three months. Of course, current clients who are not interested in moving to the new Fusion will not see any of their conditions modified and will be able to continue with the conditions they had until April 11.

Depending on the Merger rate we choose, we have smartphones included and we will have to pay a specific amount to upgrade . In addition, if we unsubscribe from the Merger, the fee that we will pay has also been stipulated.
- Smartphone Level 1 : 0 euros for all modalities.
- Smartphone Level 2 : 0 euros for Total Fusion, Total Fusion Plus, Fusion Pro 2, Fusion Pro 4, Fusion Selection, Fusion Selection Plus and Fusion Pro. 2 euros for Fusion Starts Infinite, Fusion Starts and Fusion 0.
- Smartphone Level 3 : 0 euros for With Fusión Total, Fusión Total Plus, Fusión Pro 2 and Fusión Pro 4. 5 euros for the rest of the mergers.
- Smartphone Level 4 : 5 euros for all Fusion rates.
- Smartphone Level 5 : 13 euros for all Fusion rates.
- Smartphone Level 6: 24 euros for all Fusion rates.

What happens to the smartphone if I unsubscribe?
The smartphone lease service lasts for 36 months. After that time the mobile will be ours for a cost of 1 euro. The legal conditions of the smartphone lease explain that in the event of early voluntary cancellation of the rental service, the client must return the smartphone, applying the penalty included in the contract signed at registration.
In the event that the client does not return the smartphone or does not do so in accordance with the established conditions, a penalty equivalent to the initial cost of the terminal will be applied multiplied by the remaining days of the lease and divided by the total time of the lease duration. calculated in days.
Of course, in the event that the client decides to withdraw early from Merger, but keeps his associated mobile line , he can continue with the lease. Here the monthly fee will rise slightly according to the official tables of the operator. Again, it will depend on the Level of the smartphone.
