A premiere that, it seems, has only been a small sample of what Xiaomi is preparing, since the Mi MIX 4 would be a reality by the end of the year.
Two years have passed since the first details about the latest model in the Mi Mix range were revealed and it seems that the smartphone brings more news than we thought. And it is that the latest leak affirms that the Chinese manufacturer will use a front camera under the screen for the first time in one of its designs.
‘Under Panel Camera’ technology
The leak came from a Twitter user, @UniverseIceeste, known for repeatedly exposing hidden information about various companies. In the new information released, he explains that Xiaomi will use a camera under the screen in the Mi MIX 4 .

In this publication, the author acknowledges that it is very likely that the smartphone has a curved screen and “other new technologies”, although he has not specified what they will be. If true, it would be the first time that Xiaomi has this technology ‘Under Panel Camera’, ie, you will have a front camera that will be completely hidden naked eye because it will be installed under the cover of the My MIX 4.
Although, it is true that smartphones with a front camera below the screen are not something new. The first to arrive on the scene was the ZTE Axon 20 5G. Even rumors suggest that Samsung would also be preparing its first smartphone with this technology by the end of the year. So it makes even more sense for Xiaomi’s efforts to present its new under-screen camera phone to compete in 2021.

It could be the case that it has a large QHD + screen at 120 Hz, since as we anticipate, it would be another of the strengths of this smartphone.
The leaks that have emerged over time ensure that the Mi Mix 4 will have up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. It was also revealed that it will feature a QHD panel and a possible 5,000 mAh battery with the fast charging technology.
