Why are you going to group the launches of the same family on the same day when you can flood the market with different presentations? Realme has copied (and improved) Xiaomi‘s strategy of launching great cheap mobiles to the market but it is also inheriting the bad from it, proposing an almost weekly launch that does nothing but confuse users.
The Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro were presented last week as two of the best premium mid-range that we can find on the market, but today a new family phone appeared that would be the successor to the Realme 6i launched just a few months ago, the Realme 7i . The firm’s division in Indonesia advanced this name a few hours ago at the same time that the official launch date was revealed: September 17.
At the same time, a leaked photo of this very presentation revealed the specifications of the phone, making it clear that the future cheap smartphone from Realme will arrive with a new chipset, screen and some differences in the design.
Shaping the Realme 7i
Realme Indonesia will introduce the Realme 7 and Realme 7i next week. Of the first we already know all its characteristics but of the second they are still a mystery. At least until the filtering of this image that anticipates that the smartphone will feature a Snapdragon 662 chip, manufactured by Qualcomm with 11 nm technology.
The leaked photo also previews other features of the Realme 7i such as its memory configuration, with an impressive 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage; and the presence of up to four cameras: 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP. The 7i would have a 5,000 mAh battery, just like the Realme 7, but the wireless charging technology will be limited to 18W.
Regarding the front of this new phone, the filtered list speaks of the presence of an LCD screen operating at 90 Hz and with a size of 6.5 “, but with HD + resolution, which could hinder the smooth experience of the high refresh rate. The fingerprint scanner is on the back of the phone, while the power and volume keys will be on the right side.
At the moment, the little that we would have left to know about this new Realme phone is its price but, luckily, we just have to wait 10 days for it to be officially presented and solve all our doubts.
