Among all the possible improvements that we could see next year, the option seems to be focused on bringing faster charging to the mid-range and entry-level of 2021 to reduce waiting times on practically any mobile.
The information that has allowed us to find out comes as on other occasions from a certification that adds to other rumors that we had already known. Just as it is necessary for the mobile phone and the battery to be prepared to receive a load with greater power and a higher voltage, it is also necessary for the charger to be able to offer it and this is where the key appears.
A new fast charger for the 55W Redmi
In the certification that has been produced for the MDY-12-EQ model, revealing data appear that show us that it belongs to the Xiaomi firm, which already has superior chargers that arrive as in the case of the Mi 10 Pro up to 65W. This charger is a standard that is used in other models and which adapts to the power that each model needs, allowing in this case a fast charge based on 11 V at 5 A, something that would happen the same with the Redmi.
Therefore, the 55W certified charger would not assure us that in all the Redmi of 2021, but we can expect a significant increase that would exceed the 33W that we currently see in the Redmi K30 Ultra. For now, this model is the one that offers the best fast charging, but it has fallen far short of reaching Spain and other markets. With the new charger we would have one more reason to think about Redmi models that will end up reaching the whole world with important improvements.
Will it be the fast charge of the Redmi Note 10 Pro?
The leaks on the future Redmi Note 10 have let us see a fast charge of up to 33W according to external sources, which could offer us without any problem with the new charger. With regard to the Redmi Note 10 Pro, the increase should be notable, as has happened with the Redmi Note 9 and the fast charge of the Redmi Note 9 Pro that almost doubles the power of the base model.
If this is true, we could see how the Redmi Note 10 Pro manages to charge faster, completely with those 55W in just over 40 minutes. These times are sure to be a great reason to think that Redmi next year wants to continue to be an important part of the mid-range mobile market.
