GTA V is on its way to becoming one of the most important video games in history. What is new in this version of GTA V?
The fact is that as was the case in November 2014 with the PS4 and Xbox One versions optimized for the then new generation, Rockstar has already prepared the new version that will come to PS5 and Xbox Series X | S to squeeze the hardware of the new consoles, something that the fans are not crying out for, but that will come in handy for its developers to receive a good injection of income from the sale of games.

In essence, the game is the same, we will continue to have the campaign to play if it has been a long time since you finished it in the other editions, but what will be strengthened is the Online, the real reason that this GTA V has arrived intact to this day without losing an iota of its interest: an open world in which we can meet friends and play races, or plan the occasional coup, and which has been the key to its uninterrupted success, the one that it will avoid as long as it remains that let’s have a GTA VI anytime soon.
And it is that Rockstar does not pay to launch another title on the market and run the risk of ending the goose that lays the golden eggs. An online mode that has hundreds of contents released in recent years and that has served as gasoline to set fire to the games of millions of players who recurrently enter it as a form of virtual meetups. Even so, these are all the news that you are going to have on the new consoles:
- In the Online part, GTA will allow us (finally!) to skip the prologue of the game’s story mode.
- In addition to the above, GTA Online will have a new tutorial with practically instant access to the Career Builder mode, where we can choose between one of the four illegal businesses that comes as standard.
- We will also have a new mechanical workshop (Hao’s Special Works), located at the LS Car Meet where we will be able to upgrade some “select” vehicle models.
- On the graphics side of GTA V we can finally enjoy it in 4K resolutions at 60 frames per second, which will include some unprecedented HDR type selection features. Surely you have never seen a Los Santos as real as the one that will arrive from March 15.
- Ray tracing arrives in game graphics , which will allow us to see reflections, light effects and all kinds of reflections more real than ever.
- The so-called 3D audio will also reach the new generation, to place us even better inside the action.
- In the case of PS5 users, they will be able to enjoy new vibrations thanks to Dual Sense , which will allow us to feel a little more what is happening on the screen through the palms of our hands.
- And finally, GTA V for PS5 and Xbox series X|S will arrive with a gift of GTA$, a high-end vehicle and resources to start our new criminal business in the best way within that online mode.
