Huawei advances deadlines and begins to bring EMUI 11 to some of the phones in its catalog that should not begin to receive it until next year. The update schedule for Huawei’s operating system in Spain makes it clear that the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro would receive the update from January 2021 but some European smartphones are already beginning to receive the software.
Huawei’s plans for the arrival of EMUI 11 in Europe revealed that the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro would be the first phones to receive, before anyone else, the update. What we did not expect is that the firm anticipated the landing of this version for 2 of its most famous devices. And they are quite famous because they are among the last top of the range of the manufacturer in being able to use the GMS and all the Google apps without problem.
EMUI 11 on the European P30s
The availability of this version began a few weeks ago, when mobile phones in the Chinese market left the beta program that began in October and began to receive a stable software version via OTA that is now being extended to other relevant markets.
Apparently the EMUI 11 update for the Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro is already being distributed in Europe, the United Kingdom and the Middle East. Therefore, it is to be imagined that sooner rather than later it will arrive in Spain. At first, it was expected for the first quarter of 2021 but with this launch in the old continent the deadlines could be advanced to the end of 2020.
The bad news is that, as many of you already know, Huawei has developed its latest version of the mobile operating system on Android 10 and not on Android 11 , because the brand has been working on this customization layer for quite some time. Fortunately, that does not mean that mobile phones are going to be filled with improvements and news, especially at the interface level, with new ways of working with apps in pop-up windows; and at a security level, because EMUI qq offers users much greater control such as system permissions.
Now we just have to wait for the EMUI update notification for the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro to appear on the screen. As usually happens in these cases, we are facing a staggered distribution so that not all Spanish users will receive it in the same period of time.
