Discover the novelties of Lenovo Legion: renewed range of PCs and laptops for gamers

A couple of days ago, Lenovo invited us to witness first-hand the renewal of its Legion family of products, which as you know includes both gaming laptops and desktop PCs , but also includes other devices such as monitors and normal computers. In this article we are going to tell you about all the news , and we anticipate that some of them will leave you speechless.

Under the premise that gaming does not have to be enjoyed only with TOP hardware, Lenovo’s LOQ (pronounced “lock”) sub-brand has announced new equipment that will allow gamers to explore the new games that have been released without having to request a loan from the bank for it.

Let’s start talking about laptops, designed to be able to enjoy games regardless of budget. Under this product family, Lenovo has 15-inch and 16-inch screen laptops, equipped with 13th Gen Intel Core CPUs or AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs, and NVIDIA GeForce graphics (up to RTX 4060), so you’ll be spoiled for choice. Lenovo Legion Slim laptops, power and agility for gamers

Lenovo has also announced the 8th generation of Lenovo Legion Slim laptops, a line of products designed for gamers to have the performance they are looking for but in equipment that is relatively comfortable to wear thanks to its thin thickness and lightness. In addition, in this generation we will have more options than ever, with the new Legion Slim 7i and 7 (16.8 inches), Legion Slim 5i and 5 (16.8 inches) and Legion Slim 5 of 14.8 inches, an unprecedented size until now. All of them incorporate the Lenovo Artificial Intelligence (LA) family of chips, integrated physical chips that power the Lenovo AI Engine+ software, which among other things dynamically adjusts the computer’s temperature.

This is a family of laptops designed to run triple-A titles without problems, but at the same time perform other tasks that require solvency in the hardware such as streaming. These powerful teams are accompanied by excellent WQXGA displays up to 240 Hz with VRR, 500 nits of maximum brightness and coverage of 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. Of course, as we said before, they come equipped with a dedicated AI chip that not only improves their performance, but also allows you to adjust their performance dynamically to dissipate up to 140W of heat with minimal noise, enhancing the gaming experience.

They also incorporate a 99.99 Wh battery (this figure is so because it is the maximum that is allowed to be carried in hand luggage on an airplane) that delivers up to 10 hours of battery life, and also has a 140W fast charge via USB- c. According to Lenovo, thanks to its 240W adapter, it is capable of charging the full battery in just 80 minutes. For the rest, they incorporate MediaTek WiFi 7 , Legion TrueStrike mechanical keyboard, RGB lighting and everything we can ask for in a gaming laptop.

The “little brothers” arrive with Intel Core i7-13700H or AMD Ryzen 9 7840HS processors, up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM (expandable to 64 GB) and RTX 4070 as dedicated graphics. Its screen is also 16 inches with WQXGA resolution with 500 nits of maximum brightness and up to 240 Hz refresh rate.

The rest of the features are similar to those of the Legion Slim 7i and 7 models, with its mechanical keyboard, AI chip, etc. but in this case we have a slightly smaller battery, 80 Wh that makes it lighter; even so, it supports charging up to 140W via USB-C to be able to have a full battery in a matter of minutes.
