Admittedly, Google phones are exquisite, but their design is not something that makes them stand out. The brand has been anchored in the same lines and shapes for two generations but, if Jon Prosser is right, the redesign for the Google Pixel 6 is going to be brutal.
Unlike the iPhone 13, which will be presented around the same dates, so far not much information had been leaked about the new Google Pixels that should see the light in the last quarter of the year. And we say so far because just a few hours ago the Front Page Tech channel just revealed the unofficial designs of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro . Yes, in addition to the design change there is a name change.
Hallucinate with the new Pixel 6
The filter ensures that these renderings have been made taking as a reference a real device that “someone” has had access to. We cannot do more than trust the lekaster’s word, looking at his long track record of successes. As can be seen in the photos and in the video, the main difference with the current models is a commitment to a “full screen” where the hole for the front camera located in the center of the upper part as well as a reader of fingerprints on the panel.
There are traits that are maintained between generations, such as the choice of a dual tone for the back cover also present in the Google Pixel 5. What changes is the arrangement of the camera module, which now stretches across the width of the device and appears to protrude quite a bit from the body.
At this point it should be noted that the difference between the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro will not only be in size, larger in the second model, but a third sensor will also be added accompanying the LED flash: In this way the Pixel’s camera 6 standard would be made up of two lenses, while the superior version would sport a triple camera.
Either of the two models, for the moment filtered in white and orange, would be completed with the Google lake in the lower part of the rear case. Of course, there is no official confirmation that this is the design of mobile phones but there is a good chance that, if the Google Pixel 6 are not like that, at least they will look a lot like them.
Now we have to wait until October to see how much reality these renderings have.
