A new large format gaming monitor has been presented by Corsair, which is very interesting. This new Corsair monitor is 45 inches and through XENEON FLEX OLED technology, we can have two gaming monitors in one. The particularity of this monitor is that it can be flat or curved, depending on the user’s preference.
It seems that within the segment of gaming monitors, we will see a new option that allows great customization. Until now they had to be flat or curved, there was no other possibility. But LG Display and Corsair have worked on a hybrid monitor that is very interesting.

Corsair presents a very peculiar 45-inch monitor
The new Corsair 45WQHD240 monitor is based on a XENEON FLEX OLED panel developed by LG Display . This is based on W-OLED technology , which seeks to offer excellent image quality. This panel offers us impressive black quality and very good response times. In addition, it is allowed to adjust the curvature of the 45-inch panel that has an aspect ratio of 21:9.
We will have two monitors in one, in this case. First we have a flat panel monitor for productivity , multimedia, and other day-to-day tasks. Additionally, it allows a highly immersive curvature adjustment up to 800R designed for when we go to play. We will be able to adjust the panel according to the needs in a quite simple way.

As we said, this monitor has a 45-inch panel manufactured by LG Display and has a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels with an aspect ratio of 21:9. According to Corsair, with this type of panel we have 20% more area than a 49-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 32:9.
This screen has a special anti-reflective coating that prevents glare and reflections. In addition, it includes Low Blue Light technology, which reduces visual fatigue.

Main features
We are talking about a Corsair monitor that is really crazy. This monitor offers us a maximum brightness of up to 1000 nits, a contrast ratio of 1,350,000: 1. Also, as stated, this monitor has a response time of 0.03ms GtG and a pixel on/off time of 0.01ms. As if all this were not enough, it offers a response frequency of 240 Hz and is compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium.
This XENEOPN FLEX OLED panel includes a new technology that prevents burns that occur when it is turned on and off. It seeks to guarantee the user excellent image quality, even if the user makes intensive use of the screen.
This Corsair 45WQHD240 monitor will be presented during Gamescom 2022, which will be held shortly. Then it will be when the company gives us more information about the launch and the price of this monitor. Corsair says that the rest of the features and specifications will be revealed before the end of 2022, which is when it will go on sale.
The company has not indicated the price, but we can already prepare the portfolio well. It is practically impossible for this monitor to go below 1,000 euros, taking into account the size and the fact that it is a special monitor that is flat and can be curved.
