There is no doubt that we are facing two of the best exponents that having a 5G mobile today should no longer be synonymous with an expensive phone. That is why we face the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G against the Realme X50 5G , two great mid-range phones that have a really attractive price.
Realme has undoubtedly become the great economic alternative to Xiaomi or Redmi phones. And without a doubt, the phone we are looking at today is also an excellent alternative to the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite that has just arrived on the Spanish market, also at a very reasonable price.
Screen and dimensions
Here the Xiaomi is larger, with a 6.67-inch LCD screen and Full HD + resolution , with a hole for the selfie camera and a large aspect ratio of 20: 9. It also has a refresh rate of 120Hz . For its part, the Realme mobile has a somewhat smaller screen, with a size of 6.57 inches, also LCD, with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz .
In this case it has a double pill-shaped hole. The Xiaomi is logically somewhat larger, with dimensions of 165.3 x 76.8 x 9 mm and a weight of 214.5 grams, while the Realme is more compact and lighter, with dimensions of 163.8 x 75.8 x 8.9 mm and a weight of 194 grams. .
performance
We are talking about two powerful mobiles, although the X50 5G is more so, since it has the powerful Snapdragon 765G , which we have seen in much more expensive mobiles, and which is what gives it that 5G connectivity. The Xiaomi launches the new Snapdragon 750G , a very similar processor, but which is somewhat less efficient in terms of performance.
The units we have looked at in both cases have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, in neither case expandable via microSD cards. So we have the Realme slightly ahead in terms of performance.
Camera
Both phones have a quad camera behind, although the Xiaomi has a 64 megapixel main sensor and the Realme 48 megapixels.
In the rest of the sensors they have the same configuration, 8 megapixels ultra wide angle, 2 megapixels macro and 2 megapixels deep. In front, the Xiaomi has a 16-megapixel camera, while the Realme has a dual camera, with a main sensor of the same resolution plus a secondary sensor of 2 megapixels and depth.
Battery, connectivity and software
The Mi 10T has a larger battery, 4820mAh and a fast charge of 33W, while the Xiaomi has a capacity of 4200mAh and a fast charge of 30W. They both have 5G connectivity, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, as well as a USB Type-C connector.
Both also have a fingerprint reader on the power button, something that as you know is now quite fashionable. In its favor the Xiaomi has stereo speakers. Of course they both have Android 10 as their operating system, under MIUI 12 and Realme UI 1.0 respectively.
Price and conclusion
We are facing two very similar mobiles, and without a doubt in our opinion the best options to get a cheap 5G mobile. In favor of the Xiaomi we have a larger screen and a camera with a larger main sensor , as well as a battery with more capacity. On the other hand, the Realme stands out for its higher-end processor , as well as a front dual camera.
The Xiaomi can be bought for 329 euros with this configuration, although it is not yet available in Spain, while the Realme can be bought on Amazon for 309 euros . The truth is that equality is more, but considering that the Realme has a more expensive, more efficient mobile processor, and the front dual camera, costing less, it could be a better purchase. Although MIUI logically can be something essential for you, if that is the case, the choice is clear.
