Therefore, in this regard, we undoubtedly run into almost identical performance between the two phones, which will only vary depending on the layer of personalization they have. In the case of POCO we have the Android 11 operating system under the MIUI 12 customization layer, which is undoubtedly one of the most popular. Like the one that comes with the A22, a phone that also has Android 11, although in this case with the popular One UI 3.1 layer. So except in the case of the macro sensor, which has a higher resolution in the A22, the reality is that in the photographic aspect the two phones are almost identical.
Battery and connectivity
These two are quite important aspects in any phone, and especially in the case of the battery, it can be a determining factor when choosing one model or another. In this case, the truth is that, as in other aspects, we have come across the same batteries, with an identical capacity of 5000mAh , although when charging, fast charging is somewhat different. In the Poco we have a somewhat faster 18W , while the Samsung offers 15W, so the differences should not be too noticeable between them.
If we look at the connectivity, we see that both are quite complete, starting with its dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac , which offers us the possibility of connecting to the 5G Wi-Fi networks of our home . We are facing two terminals that undoubtedly offer many similar characteristics, almost identical in some cases, so we could place the two at the same level except for minute details. In the case of the POCO, it must be recognized that we have a more compact size, a more attractive screen, with a perforated camera, while the load is somewhat faster, we cannot find greater advantages since it is very similar to its rival. In the case of the Samsung, it stands out for a camera that has a better macro sensor , with more resolution, there are not many more differences.
Therefore we have to opt for one or the other based on its price, which is where we really see differences. Because while the POCO M3 Pro 5G we can currently buy it from 145 euros , which is almost a gift for a 5G mobile, in the case of the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G we can buy it for a starting price, at least on Amazon, of 229 euros . Therefore we are talking about 80 euros of difference that are undoubtedly capital to opt for the Poco. A mobile that stands out for offering practically the same as its rival, but for a much more adjusted price.
