Today we want to face two phones in the entry range that have a lot to offer. It is a newcomer, like the Moto G Play 2021 , and the OPPO A53 , the latter already available in Spain for months. Two well-equipped and cheap terminals that differ in very specific aspects.
The entry range is no longer what it used to be, and we find increasingly better equipped phones, with several cameras, large screens and especially huge batteries, like those of the mobiles that we face today in this comparison.
Screen and dimensions
We are facing two similar phones in this regard, although with some specific differences. They are both the same size and resolution, 6.5 inches and HD + resolution.
The Motorola has a notch in the shape of a drop of water and the OPPO has a hole in the corner, and more importantly, a refresh rate of 90Hz . The Moto is somewhat larger, with dimensions of 166.6 x 76 x 9.4 mm and weighs 204 grams. while the OPPO is more compact and lighter, with dimensions of 163.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm and weight of 186 grams.
Performance and memory
In this section there is a lot of equality, especially since both terminals have the same processor, the Snadpragon 460 . It is one of the most solvent in the entry range, making it perfect for everyday tasks.
The Moto has 3GB of RAM, as well as 32GB of internal storage, while the OPPO has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable by cards in both cases.
Photo camera
Here the OPPO wins the game , with a triple camera with sensors of 13 megapixels, 2 megapixels macro, and 2 megapixels deep. For its part, the Moto has a dual camera , with sensors of 13 megapixels and 2 megapixels deep. The front camera is 5 megapixels on the G Play, and 16 megapixels on the A53.
Battery, connectivity and software
These two phones also stand out for having large batteries, in both cases of 5000mAh , although with a faster fast charge in the OPPO, being 18W. Both have Android 10 as the operating system, while they have a USB Type-C connector, Bluetooth 5.0 or Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac. The fingerprint reader is both on the back.
Price and conclusion
We are facing two phones that undoubtedly offer good features at a more affordable price. While the Moto G Play 2021 has no price yet in Spain, we can be guided by its predecessor, which can currently be purchased for around 130 euros, although it arrived in Spain for 199 euros, a price at which it could reach our country soon. In the case of the OPPO A53, it can be purchased for 159 euros.
Taking into account this aspect, OPPO seems to us a better investment for several reasons. The first is that it has a 90Hz screen, followed by a triple camera, a front camera with twice the resolution and faster fast loading. It practically surpasses in all aspects or equals Motorola, and all this for a price that when the latter is released in Spain will probably be lower. In short, right now the OPPO mobile seems a better option.
