Among all the mobiles that have been presented in the last year, the iPhone 11 and the Google Pixel 5 have managed to raise great expectations. Each of the devices has particular things that make them stand out from the rest, beyond the great differences from the operating system. The Google Pixel 5 has become a revolution for having made the leap to the mid-range, seeking to be the ideal option without spending too much money. The Pixel 5, however, has given the news that it would not reach countries like Spain, countries that have its only global version with 8 GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Double lens to give the best result
Apple and Google do not get to add countless cameras to their devices, showing us that only with two lenses and a good job behind you can achieve great results. The main lens of Google and Apple tie with 12 Mpx but nevertheless they are signed by Sony and Apple respectively. Both offer good results in low light with apertures f / 1.7 and / 1.8. The second of its lenses is the ultra wide angle where Google includes 16 Mpx before Apple’s 12 Mpx.
The selfie camera is better on the iPhone 11 with its 12 Mpx, as Google has only opted for 8 Mpx. The treatment of both cameras will be great on either lens, but Google’s artificial intelligence seems to be a step above. In video, the two can record in 4K with optical image stabilization, leaving us a difficult panorama and having to give tables on the scoreboard in terms of cameras between Pixel 5 and iPhone 11.
Connectivity and battery
A point added by Google is that the Pixel 5 has 5G technology and the iPhone 11 conforms to 4G. To this we have to add that both have the option of using eSIM, they integrate Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC, leaving the audio jack in oblivion. The inputs as you’d expect are Lightning for Apple and USB Type-C for the Pixel 5.
When looking at its battery we see that the Pixel 5 has more battery without being something abysmal, but its 4080 mAh overshadows the 3110 mAh of the iPhone 11. As for charging, the Pixel 5 has 18W of power just like the iPhone 11 But it adds reverse charging alongside the wireless charging they share. On the other hand, the iPhone 11 is currently available in its 128 GB version for 809 euros, a tempting price for everything it offers.
If we have to stay but one we would do it to buy the iPhone 11 even if the Pixel 5 was in Spain. Prices do not change so much as to opt for a less powerful processor, its cameras are practically the same and the iPhone has proven to be one of the best terminals of the whole year.
