And it is that we must take into account that Windows offers us its own official store to download all kinds of applications and games without risk.
One of the main features that the Microsoft Store offers us is control over those applications available in it in terms of their veracity and security. This means that, if we have decided not to use an antivirus on the computer, as a protection method we should limit ourselves to the use of these UWP applications . In fact, we can configure the system itself so that it only accepts the installation of this type of program that comes from its official store.
As you can imagine, this will allow us to avoid the arrival of viruses and other types of malware on our computer by not being able to install third-party software that we download from any Internet page. To limit the operating system in this sense, the first thing we do is go to the configuration application through the Win + I key combination. Of the options that appear here, we opted for the section called Applications.
Next, in Applications and features, we find a drop-down list that allows us to customize the installation source of the programs . Here we only have to establish the Microsoft Store as the only source of application installation. This way we can protect our equipment even if it does not have an antivirus.
