The quickest way to use your phone as a mirror is to open Camera and switch to the front camera. Leave the live preview on screen. If you need a full-screen view, more light or a way to pause the image, a mirror app can help.
Use the front camera as a mirror
- Open the Camera app on your iPhone or Android phone.

- Face a window or lamp for better light. Use the live preview to check your hair, makeup or anything else. You can leave it on the preview without taking a photo.
If the picture is blurry, clean the front lens and hold the phone a little farther away. The right distance varies by phone.
