Its launch was a bombshell and thousands of people took to the streets in the summer of 2016. Niantic and Nintendo collaborated on the development of Pokémon Go, a new installment of the mythical saga that generated a lot of interest. Even today it is still played a lot and it still has a lot of popularity and we are going to tell you how to level up in Pokémon Go very quickly.
If you don’t know, depending on your level in the game, you will be able to get Pokémon with more strength and better attacks. That is why it is important to level up very quickly, to have a great team of Pokémon.
Gain experience very easily
Catching Pokémon, spinning Pokestops, conquering gyms, or completing missions give you experience points . It is not the only way to get experience points, actually, there are two more efficient ones: evolutions and friends . With these two points we can get even more experience than with the rest of the methods. We explain how and why.
Evolve them all
The fastest and easiest way is to catch as many Pokémon as you can and evolve them . Capturing a Pokémon gives you 200 experience points to which we can add extra points for capturing it first time, for throwing the curveball, and for throwing quality (good, great, and excellent). Then each evolution gives you 1000 experience points , regardless of the Pokémon.
Depending on the Pokémon, we will need more or less captures to be able to evolve them. To reduce the number of captures of a certain Pokémon it is important to always throw a Pineapple Berry. The Pineapple Berries give us twice as many candies, so we will need much less captures and the evolution will be easier. If what we capture is a Pokémon in its first phase we will obtain a maximum of 6 candies, if it is an evolution we can obtain up to 10 candies per capture.
We will NOT make an evolution as soon as we have all the candies, far from it. What we will do is accumulate many Pokémon to evolve them at once and before starting, we will be able to get a Lucky Egg. This makes us double the experience for each evolution, so we will not get 1000 experience points, we will get 2000 experience points per evolution. The usual thing with this method is in 30 minutes (time that the lucky egg lasts) is to obtain between 110,000 and 140,000 experience points.
What are the best Pokémon for this method?
All those that require 12 candies or 25 candies for their evolution. If we always use the Pineapple Berry, we will only need two 12-candy Pokémon for the evolution and four of the 25-candy Pokémon. Note that, in the case of Pokémon with 25 candies, four captures are not enough (it would be 24 candies), but we will discard three and these three will give us one candy for each transfer and thus, we already exceed the 25 necessary for evolution.
The best for this are:
- Of 12 candies: Caterpie, Weedle, Pidgey, Wurmple, Pidove, Whismur
- From 25 candies: Rattata, Eevee, Sentret, Ledyba, Cleffa, Pichu, Igglybuff, Smoochum, Tyrogue, Wynaut, Azurill
Have many friends
Another fairly simple method that can give you to earn up to 400,000 experience per week is through friends. As you interact with friends and collect hearts, you increase your friendship level and gain experience. It can be obtained by exchanging gifts, changing our Pokémon and fighting together.
Friendship levels are as follows:
- Good friendship: Requires 1 day of interaction of any kind and gives 3,000 experience
- Great friendship: Must spend 7 days of interaction of any kind and gives 10,000 experience
- Ultra friendship: We will need 30 days of interaction of any type and it gives 50,000 experience
- Unparalleled Friendship: Obtained after 90 days of interaction of any kind and gives 100,000 experience
To grow fast, what interests us most is the “Great friendship” that requires little time and gives a lot of experience. We can open up to 20 gifts a day, which allows us to get up to 200,000 experience a week. If we throw a lucky egg before completing the last piece of the second heart, we will double the amount.
The method I use is to put my trainer code on a specific website of friend codes that I really like. This website allows segmenting by country and I usually put the code each month in 15-20 different countries, some large ones like Spain, the United States or Brazil and in small ones like Madagascar. So, more or less a day I have an average of 5-10 friend requests, which are easy experience points.
