How to rent them
If you want to rent movies, you have several ways to do it. The best known is through iTunes , but you can only do it through this app if you have a non-Apple computer. To do this, you will have to follow a series of steps that we explain below.
- Open iTunes.
- From the pop-up menu in the upper left corner, select Movies.
- At the top of the iTunes window, click the Rented tab. If you don’t see the Rented tab, it means the rented movie has expired or wasn’t rented using the Apple ID you’re signed in with.
- Hover over the rented movie to see the options.
If you don’t have a Windows computer but want to rent movies, the other option that stands out the most is Apple TV . In a few simple steps you can rent the movie you want to watch.
- Open the Apple TV app.
- Find the movie you want to rent.
- On the movie page, tap or click the Rent button. If no rental button appears, the movie is not available for rent.
- Sign in with your Apple ID to rent the movie.
You have 30 days to view it before it is removed from the library. If you start playing the movie, it will be available for 48 hours and then it will be removed from your library.
