However, the reactions to the messages are falling and they are already implementing the animation for heart emojis, which was one of the novelties of the app that we mentioned would arrive in 2022. Emojis are part of our daily lives and we use them practically for everything. Every year the emojis are renewed and WhatsApp has wanted to animate the heart emojis in all the available colors.

While we wait for the update that will bring message reaction to all users, those on the latest beta for iOS 22.2.72 are getting the ability to turn notifications on and off when someone sends a reaction to one of our messages.
During the Christmas holidays, WhatsApp has been developing a new animation for heart emojis that is already being implemented for certain users of the iOS beta in the latest update 2.22.72 . Now all the heart emojis are animated, not just the red heart as before.
To see the animation, the recipient also needs to have the version in which it can currently be used. WhatsApp also plans to introduce the same feature in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android, although there is no set date for its launch yet. The reactions to messages that we find on other platforms such as Facebook, Instagram or Slack have reached the latest beta for iOS 22.2.72 a few days ago. They can be activated and deactivated for individual and group chats, in addition to choosing the tone you want to hear when you receive that notification.
Not much is known about the design yet, but it may be similar to Telegram’s in that there is already a limited number of emojis that we can click on the message. In the same way, WhatsApp could choose to add an icon to the right of the message that allows us to use an emoji to react.
