Xiaomi has been wanting to be at the forefront of the manufacturers that update their mobiles the fastest. It is still far from brands like OPPO, Nokia and, of course, Google Pixel, but this year it is becoming one of the first brands to update its large range caps to the latest version of Google’s operating system, Android 11.
The Chinese giant in fact officially announced that its 2020 flagships would be one of the first phones to receive the new version of Android and that is why the brand has published different beta versions for them. Now finally comes the stable version that can be installed by smartphone owners in China, their country of origin.

Specifically, it is the Xiaomi Mi 10 that is now finally updated to Android 11 in its final version, without the need to be part of any beta program, contrary to what happens with the Mi 10 Pro that is still anchored in the beta stable. however it is most likely that, like its little brother, this “top” model will be updated in the first hours.
Right now it is the Chinese models that are being updated, connect the Android version but since it is neither the global nor the European ROM, it is a software without Spanish language and that does not have Google services.
And the European?
It is to be imagined that, after the launch of this version for China, Spanish users will soon receive the update notice on their mobile phones. But if you can’t wait the wait, you can always update to a modified ROM that has all the news of Android 11 for the Xiaomi Mi 10 . Since the available ROM is dedicated to the Asian world, the Xiaomi.eu team has developed a version dedicated to western users, with English language and GMS.
For those who are not familiar with this project, Xiaomi.eu was born with the idea of reducing waiting times to receive MIUI news away from the Asian country. This is possible with a general translation of the ROM, in addition to the removal of Asian software (useless to us) and the introduction of Google services. This treatment has also been applied to MIUI 12 20.8.7, based on Android 11 and is available for the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro , but it is based on the latest beta of the software.
As it is an unofficial ROM , its installation must be done by unlocking the bootloader and flashing the file that we leave you below through the custom TWRP recovery.
