Android 11 Comes to the Xiaomi Mi 10T, Mi 9, and Redmi Note 8

The Android 11 update on Xiaomi mobiles continues from strength to strength and now we know new terminals that can already test the honeys of Google’s latest operating system. As always, the tracks come to us from China, a place that puts us on the track of how things are going before the official landings in our country.

Having an extensive catalog of terminals is something that brings its consequences, and we cannot precisely, that Xiaomi does not have work ahead. There are still terminals waiting to update to MIUI 12 with Android 10, while others like the ones at hand, begin to receive Android 11 also with MIUI 12 . However, the firm is preparing an intermediate version before MIUI 13, called MIUI 12.5.

Within this tangle of models and updates, from time to time we can shed some light, or shadows, on how things are going. Let’s remember that without going any further, that yesterday we learned of several Xiaomi models that have been discarded to receive MIUI 12, unfortunately for their owners, despite having been on the list of those chosen for a long time.

But the good news is coming to a new handful of devices, which are starting to test Android 11 in the Chinese beta. This means that if all goes well, its global rollout could take place in the coming weeks. First, this process must be completed and the stable version launched , which if it is free of problems, is the prelude to the global OTA that Xiaomi will receive from all over the world including Europeans and Spaniards. The following list includes some best sellers such as the Redmi Note 8 or more recently launched terminals such as the Mi 10 and Mi 10T Pro.
