For all these, they provide us with a series of functions and features that help us navigate with fewer risks. In addition, the firm works so that Firefox consumes the least amount of PC resources.
At the same time, they store a good amount of user data to improve the user experience in future sessions. But this is something that everyone does not like, while it is not always recommended. This is something that obviously becomes especially evident when we are on a public computer or that others use. Therefore, if necessary, the best we can do is open a private window to avoid all this and increase security in the session.
Open a private window by default in the Mozilla browser
In order to open a private window in this browser , we only have to place ourselves in its menu and select the New private window option. At that moment the window that will open will no longer store anything from the session on the Internet . But of course, as you can imagine, to do this, we must first access the browser as such and open a “normal” window.
Therefore, it may be the case that to speed up this process, for security we prefer to always open one of these private windows in Firefox . Well, at the outset we don’t have an option for such a thing, but we can use a simple trick. In this way, we will change the internal configuration of the program, so the first thing will be to open the Firefox Options menu. In the new window that appears on the screen , we place ourselves, to the left of it, in the Privacy & Security section.
Here we will have to locate the section called History , where we see a drop-down list, which we open. At this point, all we have left to do is opt for the option of not remembering the history. In this way, once this option is activated, Firefox will behave the same as in the private window , but each time we access it from scratch. To go back to the way it was before, we just have to change that option back to its original mode.
