Check the charge of your AirPods

To do this, if you have another Apple device to which you have the AirPods associated, we recommend that you connect them to verify the level of autonomy of these.
In case this is not possible, either because that other device does not recognize them either or because you do not have another device to connect them to, we move on to the second option, and this is, to know approximately the charge level of the headphones . We say roughly because we are going to use the led of the charging case to check if the AirPods really have autonomy or not. To know the charge level of the AirPods through the charging case, what you have to do is insert them inside the case and keep the lid open, in this way, if the led is green, it indicates a state of full charge. If it is orange, there is less than a full charge left, so this could be the reason why your AirPods do not connect to your iPhone, the lack of sufficient autonomy. The solution to this is quite simple, you just have to charge your AirPods and then try to connect them to your iPhone again.
Check the Bluetooth connection
Once you have verified that the autonomy of the AirPods is not the reason why the connection with your iPhone is failing, it is time to verify the Bluetooth connection. To do this, open the control center of your iPhone and make sure that Bluetooth is activated. Once you have verified this, go to Settings> Bluetooth and if your AirPods are connected, verify that they are selected as the audio device.
In case these are not connected, close the lid of the AirPods, wait 15 seconds and open it again. Press and hold the settings button on the case for 10 seconds. The status light should blink white, which means the AirPods are ready for you to connect. Next, hold the case with the AirPods inside and the lid open, next to the iPhone and follow the steps that appear on the screen to finally test the AirPods again.
Reset the AirPods
If after performing the steps mentioned above you still cannot connect the AirPods to your iPhone, touch to reset them. To do this, follow the following steps:
- Put the AirPods in the case, close the lid, hold for 30 seconds and reopen the lid.
- On the iPhone go to Settings> Bluetooth, touch the “i” icon that appears next to the AirPods and click Forget this device and touch again to confirm.
- Reset the AirPods. With the lid open, press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for approximately 15 seconds until you see the amber status light flash.
- Reconnect the AirPods. With the lid open, place the AirPods near the iPhone and follow the steps that appear on the device screen.

If the problem is with just one earphone
In case one of the two headphones is failing, follow the steps below to fix the problem so that you can enjoy your two headphones again. To do this, you have to have the two AirPods in the charging case and make sure they are charging, to later perform the following steps.
- On your iPhone go to Settings> Bluetooth.
- Tap the “i” icon next to the AirPods.
- Click Forget this device, then tap to confirm.
- Put both AirPods in the charging case, close the lid, wait 30 seconds, and then open it again.
- Press and hold the setup button for a few seconds until the white status light blinks.
- Reconnect the AirPods, to do this, place them near the device and open the lid. Follow the steps that appear on the iPhone screen.
- Try both AirPods.
