- Click on the ‘Screen lighting effects’ button.
This is the section in which we are going to be able to configure to our liking how notifications are displayed based on light effects on the screen. The idea is to replace the presence of the notification LED and know precisely what type of notification we have received based on the color of these light effects. Within this section we have several options.
For notifications and calls
Activating this option activates the lighting effects for all incoming calls. Below we have the option to activate the light effects also for the lock screen of the phone.
In addition, by doing so we will be able to see two new accessible options. One is to choose the light color tone for incoming calls, which can be neon purple, ocean blue, or amber orange. In the same menu we can also choose a clear one for notifications when the smartphone panel is locked, which can be the same tones.
By activating it when notifications related to these cases are received, we will see how a colored ring illuminates the entire phone panel when it is with the display off. In this way we somehow obtain the utility of the notification LED, but embodied in the entire surface of the screen, rather around it. It may be that, although we have an OLED panel , our phone has not benefited from this tool because we do not have the necessary Realme UI update. For this reason, we bring you a series of alternatives that allow us to configure a tiny point of light on the display of the Chinese phone that will work in a similar way.
In this case, it does look completely like a classic LED and not a derivation, like the native function that we have just presented to you. This, however, cannot be achieved from the screen settings of our Realme, so we have to go to the app store to get it.

When we have it installed on our mobile, we can start with the next configuration step. First, we grant all the necessary permissions and then we can go to the last tab, from where we can configure various aspects of the LED, among which we find the position in which the screen is located. Here also, we will have the opportunity to decide if it is located on one side or the other.
We can also choose the color of the east for any of the chromatic range or modify the blinking time, in addition to its duration. And it is that, being a helper for false alerts, we have several customization options at our disposal that we do not have in the native Realme option. Let’s not forget that the LED emits signals that we must know how to interpret, and that are modifiable in this application.
ArcLighting
Another of the applications that we find within the Google store is ArcLighting . In this case, permissions are also required again. Once we have granted them, we can give way to the indicated options to finally get a ring of light to appear around the camera of our Realme phone as if it were the classic smartphone LED.
After the installation and the first steps, it’s time to activate the function. Within the ‘Cotout Setting’ section, we will have to manually choose the part of the screen where we want it to be displayed and thus fit perfectly with the mobile’s camera.
