Due to the technology that these screens have, it is always advisable to avoid certain images or characters remain fixed on them for a long time. The best without a doubt is to prevent this from happening with a screensaver.
What does the screensaver prevent?
Sometimes, depending on the phone, if we have activated a clock or notifications on the lock screen, for example when the phone is charged, it is possible that during that time a graphic or character of those that appear on it may remain recorded. So it is highly recommended to use a screensaver that modifies what is displayed on the screen, with the aim that none of it can remain recorded or burn the screen.
In the case of Motorola mobiles we have different screensavers to activate in different situations . It is a native tool for the brand’s mobile phones, and it avoids the dangers that usually threaten the screens with notifications. To do this, we must enter the phone’s screen settings and activate these screensavers, adding our own rules to their activation.
How active?
It is something quite simple, since the function is found in the screen settings, and we can access it as follows:
- Enter the settings of your Motorola
- Click on “screen”
- Select on “Advanced”
- Enter “screensaver”
- Press “Current Screensaver”
Here you can choose between three types of wallpaper, such as showing a clock, a color gradient or photos from our ” Google Photos ” account. In this case we have chosen a colored background. Now you have to choose the rules of the screensaver:
- Click on “When to start” below
- Select when you want it to start
Here we have three options, that it is activated when the phone is charged, that it does it when we connect the phone to a charging base, in the case that the previous two cases are met, or we can choose that it never activates, so that in any case the wallpaper will never be activated. In this way, if you choose, for example, a color gradient, you will see how it gradually changes its different tones. In such a way that the screen is not burned by any type of graphic or character.
