Why use these controls with the screen off?

For example, when we carry the phone in our pocket, while we walk, it is quite annoying to have to pick up the phone and unlock the screen to be able to skip a song or repeat it. With this functionality the volume buttons become buttons to control the playback of the music we are listening to. Or what is the same, that if we press the volume up button, it skips the song , and if we press the volume down button on it, we go back to the song , or repeat it, depending on how many times we press on this button.
Therefore we do not need to turn on the screen, nor do we need to pick up the phone to control that playback, since the player has physical controls. Of course, it is not lost in this case is the possibility of raising or lowering the volume, since its functions are not replaced by the playback control. Just long press the volume buttons to go up and down . It is something that we can do easily, since it is possible to change these settings from one of the motorcycle actions that are installed with our Motorola.
How are they activated?
Well, it is very simple, since these controls can be activated from the Moto actions that are included in the Moto app of our Motorola. Therefore we must activate them in the following way.
- Open the application drawer of your Motorola
- Open the Moto app
- Select the three horizontal stripes in the upper left
- Click on “Moto Actions”
- Activate “Multimedia Controls”
Now when you play music, you can control playback by pressing once on the volume up or down button, and control the volume by pressing for a long time.
